This beautiful older stallion is one of my favorites. "Khan" has superb ground manners, but loves to show off. He's extremely upright, long-necked, and has a beautiful head. While he is an upper-level Dressage horse, he is surefooted and trustworthy. Enough so that we often take him on cattle drives at our San Luis Obispo ranch. He handles any obstacle-from logs, to rivers, to bridges with ease. Equally at home in the dressage ring, he is well known for his extravagant movement and agreeable, calm demeanor. His sire is the well-known Kubinec. Kubinec was World Champion at the Salon Du Cheval, as well as being European Champion, German National Champion, & All-Nations Cup Reserve Champion, and in addition is the sire of FS Bengali (2003 U.S. National Champion Senior Stallion). His dam is a brilliant bay daughter of European Champion Stallion, Mirok Monpelou. We are sure that Kublai Khan will follow in his illustrious sire's footsteps.
