"Wolf"
2001 15.3hh Grey Arabian Stallion
Halter, Sporthorse, Hunter Pleasure, Dressage.
Amadeus WMA is a young stallion that we've kept an eye on for a long time. We had even made several offers to purchase him in 2002 and 2003, but to no avail. He, in the summer of 2004, was suddenly made available by his original breeder, Zoe. Wolf was placed in a dispersal sale and was about to be retired. I couldn't let this wonderful young stallion retire at such a young age. We made his breeder an offer she couldn't refuse and we picked him up in our van a few hours later. His same brilliant self, he stepped off the trailer with a paw and a snort and settled right in. Most impressive at liberty, he has incredible length of stride, a long, archy neck, and inimitable presence. He loves to show off, which is a definite advantage in the halter ring. When we purchased him, we had no inkling of his previous accomplishments, and when we found out about his National and International titles, we couldn't believe what a jewel we'd found. He's gotten acclaim in Europe as well as the U.S.. After a 4 month-long break, Wolf returned in as good of form as ever and easily made the Top Ten at Sport Horse Nationals. We are currently gearing him up for an undersaddle career in Hunter Pleasure and Dressage, with future possibilities in Western Pleasure. Wolf's pedigree is equally as good as his show ring presence and performance. His sire, *ZT Shakfantasy, was a Scottsdale Champion Stallion by the immortal *El Shaklan and out of a Bey Shah+ daughter. He is from Argentina, bred by one of the most influential South American breeders, Count Federico Zichy-Thyssen. Wolf's dam needs no introduction, as both a National Champion in multiple divisions (Including Dressage, Sidesaddle, Working Hunter, Costume, and Halter) and a dam of National Champions such as Sharif WMA, PR Baraka Wind, WA Gift of The Wind, Vegas Spotlight, African Flame WMA, and many others. Ya Bint was bred by Winfield Arabian Ranch (Owned by Rosie) and earned her Legion of Masters (++++//). This beautiful mare has founded a dynasty of showhorses. Wolf truly is the next generation from a wonderful tradition of winners.
